If you look behind the expansive European projects and seamlessly delivered festivals, you find a small team of passionate pros with coulourful experience and one thing in common: the love of music. Our diverse skillsets allow us to carry out varied projects: Ritmo, a burst of global beats in the heart of Budapest, planning and managing many of Veszprém’s ECoC programs or the large-scale regional development mission of MOST.
It all started as a small record label, specialized in folk and world music in 2003. A handful of the Hangvető OGs worked to produce records that convey musicians’ art as closely as possible, albums that capture the magic. The industry underwent major changes, and Hangvető followed suit: we specialized in event management, films and large collaborative projects, but the thread connecting all our ventures is always music. We still publish albums, if we fall in love with a voice, a sound, a musician’s artistic integrity. Throughout all its transformations and rebirths, the Hangvető team was held together by its shared mission, and kept its pleasing cacophony of individual mindsets and skills.
