World Music From Hungary in Songlines

In addition to Songline's regular covermount CD, the March issue has an extra CD focusing on Hungarian music. Among the 17 tracks appear many Hangvető artists like Kálmán Balogh, Ági Szalóki, Szilvia Bognár, Besh o Drom, Kerekes Band, Söndörgő, Parno Graszt and Ágnes Herczku.

One of the biggest world music magazine, the british Songlines has selected Söndörgő's last album into the actual editor's choice selection of the 10 best new releases. The first track of the Söndörgő & Ferus Mustafov In Concert album named ’Kisacko kolo’ will be on the October issue’s CD covermount.

Veronika Harcsa has won Fonogram Award

The album You Don't Know It's You by Veronika Harcsa has won the "HUNGARIAN JAZZ ALBUM OF THE YEAR" award at Fonogram Hungarian Music Award 2009. She and Albert Márkos also won Best Original Music award for their work on the film Lost Times by Mátyássy Áron at the 40th Hungarian Film Week. The film also won the main prize: the "Golden Reel".
